First off, Ill adopt the Tad and take care of it until its 18th birthday if you want, for no charge for room and board at all. Does the cue have a weight bolt in it, if so you can likely change it to a lighter one to give the cue more of a forward balance. Paul Dayton cues have a unique forward balance to them that sort of feel like the cue is weightless when playing. I cannot talk about th others though.

I have only played with a Lambros that is a friends. Its hit is GREAT, and I hope my bud leave it to me in his will...

not intending to let go my 1st tad...virgin tad. haha. looking at lambros and showman...do give me reviews..thx:D

I've hit with both. But to be fair, the Showman was a Titlist conversion and probably not his typical cue. It didn't seem to be too forward balanced. The Tad, either. I have had a Dishaw that was noticeably forward balanced, and I was used to shooting with "regular" balance cues. It took a couple of weeks to get used to.

regular cue balance is 47-50 from butt cap...but the showman is 52...so i pressume it is forward balance... any info on shoman cues? they are quite highly priced and it does not seem to be very popular in the players scene...am i right to say that? i want to know about the hit before i commit as i will be using it as my playing cue...
more reviews...bumpz:D

What do you mean by 47-50 and 52? If that's the percentage of rear weight then it's a little off. The average balance point is around 18" from the butt which would be about 31%, on a 58" cue that is.

Centimeters maybe???

If you have a chance to buy a Showman cue, jump on it. Let me know if you don't want it! :D

:D let me give you an idea of how much the cue is... it is a 4 pointer with 5 veneers, green, grey etc...forget...with 1vory inlay at the 4 point, forearm is bem and butt sleeve is a fancy showman hoppe ring and leather wrap...with 2 shaft, with extra short ferrules at abit lesser than 1.5cm? it is said to lower deflection.... with 2 shaft and showman case... pristine condition, going for 4k usd...is it worth it? it is said to be one of a kind cue...

I doubt Lambros would ever claim to have a forward balanced cue.

i am not ery sure with that though... i might have made a mistake... anyreviwews on showman?

Try this

This doesn't seem right but if you take even a 1/4 oz out of the back of the cue it might feel the same weight but you will feel it. Sometimes a little is alot. You probable will not be able to feel a 1/2 oz change either. But stick with a 1/4 oz.!
The 1/2 oz change will change the balance point enough that the cue will feel heavier but it will be lighter so you will feel no differance with a really great cue! This just might let you enjoy your new TAD!

Call Mr Ernie and ask him First!!!!!!!!!!!

I have owned 6 Showman's and would still have them today if not for the IRS.I still have one and it plays jam up.His cues seem to balanced about 2"above the wrap. The cues feel like a Szamboti as far as balance, definetly not butt heavy.
