a showman cue is deffinatly one of them on top of my list...

i should have bought that one that a forum member was selling a few months ago for $1700.. he had a sweet gilbert too... but that showman was awesome and it was plaine..

thankyou all for the responds... but i need to know the value of the cue before i buy it... for a 4 pointer with 4 veneers, some ivory inlays at the butt and 1 fancy hoppe ring... with 2 shaft, both extra short ivory furules that is said to be least deflecting...in mint condition...rougly how much is the market value?i was quoted 4k usd...is it worth it?

IMO I think $3000-$3500 due to the wait and quality of the cue.I believe it has 5 venneers as do most of John's.John does remarkable work and you would not be disappointed.If you do not like it PM and I may take it off your hands.
