I haven’t been keeping up with the times. What is RDC?

The RDC was a fancy Viking made in the 70's. Back when I sold mine I figured I would just buy another one when I came across one. But I haven't seen one in quite a while and decided to see if one may be hidden away in a closet somewhere.
