Here's a Viking cue from he late 70's that's seen only a few hours of play with Imperial case. No rings lifting. Everything is just as it was when purchesed...The cue belongs to a buddy of mne and he wont let her go..:frown:

What a find. Not only the Viking Super Joint, but not too many would recognize the old Lucite ferrule. Piece of history there.

I bet it is solid.

Too many seem so occupied with "performance" from the standpoint of minimizing deflection etc.. Stop and smell the roses. If you aren't competing it can be really cool to just sample the old stuff and study how they compare in their playing qualities. I enjoy doing that. I am way past pursuing my best game.

I sure would love to try that one. :thumbup:
