Viking Tour & Super Bowl

The FIRST person who picks the right combination to the winners of both the Super Bowl and the Viking 9-Ball tournament will receive $100.00 from The Pool Room Sports Bar & Grille in Duluth, GA.

Okay I already picked the winner, but what I think would be cool would be post a list of those players who really are going to play, then we get to choose one of them, and no matter who really wins the pool tourney, the one from the list that finishes first off the list of choices.
Man I hope this is some type of english. I've had a bad no smoking day and my brain is mushed.
JAM if your out there can you put this in english for me,
thanks Mrs.g:D :D

The way it seems to me is that you have to be there in order to pick a winner of the Viking tournament because those of us back home have no idea who is competing. It's a guess, I guess!:p

The combination of the WINNER of the tournament and the WINNER of the Super Bowl wins the 100 bucks. In other words, if you pick Shannon Daulton to win, but you pick the Steelers to win the Super Bowl, and Shannon wins, but the Seahawks win the Super Bowl, then you lose. Hope that's not too confusing, Mrs. G.

Good luck on not smoking. Each day, you will get stronger.:)

BTW, Slivka won the Midnight Madness #2 last night at Bill and Billies in Arnold, MD.

Gotta go with the Steelers to win the superbowl. To win the tournament I'd have to say Louis Ulrich or Tang Hoa.

How did it go, was 17 people a good number? Any action on the side,,,,lol?

In the other post I wanted them to post who they knew were going to enter as of now and let us pick from them. So if u picked Cliff and the Seahacks and 4 people that weren't on the list won, and the Seahawks won and Cliff came in 4th you would win.
Any way,,,,,,lol this is my first really goofy day since December 23 for no smoking, and man I am a mess,,,,LOL.

Actually, we didn't go. I called on over there, and the fellow I spoke to on the phone said Pops took the chart home and he had no idea who won. Then another fellow in the background, who had been up for 18 hours, said Jerry Slivka won it, but he couldn't remember who came in second, et cetera. The dime 1st place is based on 32 plays. So, for 100 entry fee, I'm not sure how much Jerry would have pocketed.

Meanwhile, back to the Viking event, Mike Janis posted the players auction names on another thread in the Main Forum. I saw a couple of horses that stood out in my mind. B.J. Ussery is an excellent tournament player, and Cliff Joyner, just winning the 2006 Louie Roberts A/E Award, is probably on a forward momentum. There's some AzB-ers in attendance. So we'll for sure get some updates! :)

Hey Jam,
As I recall, B.J. & Cliff will play each other first round of the final the 16 on the winners side Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
Would you P.M. me some info on the 2006 Louie Roberts A/E Award?

"Have a nice day",
Lamar

John - I just bought a snooker shaft for my cue, and to my surprise the snooker and 3-cushion tables are being removed as I walk in the door yesterday. What gives?

I was there on Thursday, and saw the tables missing, and wondered the same thing.

Some other guy looked like he was going to stage a sit-in to get the snooker table back - he was sitting where it was, with the snooker ball rack in front of him, and all the red balls laid out in a circle around himself. I wish I'd snapped a pic with my phone when I thought about it... grrr :)
