Vintage, means older. In the case of years, it should mean 70's or older. It could also mean "early". You could have a vintage Predator if its an early original shaft. So there is no "set" definition.
What people in this industry should be concerned with is the "unhit" cue. I see a certain dealer likes to say unhit, but doesn't tell you that is AFTER a restoration. To me, there should be a distinct line in a restored cue, vs; and unrestored cue. Would you buy a Mottey that was new and unhit, sure, but would you buy it for the same price as new and unhit after Joe Blow restored it?
