Hey folks.

I am curious about this site and the information on it. Alot of information of haven't seen elsewhere. I did a forum search and nothing came up about the site. Anyone know it ?

I had a few emails with the owner. He gave me some information on an old willie hoppe cue. Seemed helpful to me.

I really like the site and pictures. I am not sure his early dates on the Hoppe cues are correct. I have read many dates that slightly contradict the dates posted but as far as I know it somewhat a mystery the exact date when the first Hoppe cues were started. If the decals on his site are what you get when ordering then I am impressed. They are very close to the originals and look much better then others I have seen.

Paul Mineart is a authority on vintage cues and this site is a valuable resource for dating these vintage cues. Thanks for the link.

Wonder where he got that rug for his table?

It is obvious this guy is passionate about the game as well as its history. Very cool.

He was very helpful when i emailed him. He matched up the cue i had by the decal and signature to get the years they were made. Just cool history as well.

I am thinking he made it. It was probably just the right size and the pattern lent itself to being cut. I say this because if he had it made it would be more under the table. As it is now your one foot is on the carpet and your front foot is on the bare floor when playing.
An interior designer can order a rug to any dimension including the interior pattern. A friend used to do interior design of cruise ships, hotels and such. Looks custom made, nice,

I just stumbled across Paul Mineart's website. Absolutely amazing this man's collection. So I checked if there was anything posted here and found this thread.

Take the tour of photos of this man's Billiard Room. Very nice!!
