Not sure about the case but the socks look like the old Hudson Bay blankets

No divider.
It’s an interesting piece. I’d say maybe narrowing it down by the latch but those homa latches been used on tons of stuff. I think Martin and Adam was making cases back then if that’s the time period but never seen one of theirs like that. And Brunswick.
Is the bottom done like a Fellini or Centennial?
Probably a slim chance but I think some of those old fly rod cases was and open tube style

The bottom is like an old Palmer tube case.
The case is actually round on the bottom and flattened on the top.
