I recently ended up with a 1960s viking cue from this guy. The cue is dark wood. The collar of the shaft has blue pearl line. Brass joints, The wrap is royal blue. My question is, the guy is giving me another cue that is exactly the same. Their is no name of it. Is their such a thing as a first edition cue?

Post some photo's it is the only way anyone can help you. The cue may have been refinished or damaged and that is why there is no nane. To my knowledge concerning Viking Cues almost all of the 60's models had the Name Viking under a clear window in the cues butt, except for the lower cues in the series.

Without photo's I doubt anyone can help you.

If your question is: might this be a counterfeit Viking?

IMHO - I would seriously doubt it.
