Virginia Pool Rooms?

Can anyone recommend any good VA pool rooms...specifically between Richmond and Washington D.C. (I guess that would be NE Virginia)? I may be doing a roadtrip that brings me through the area and would like to know what my options are? I prefer 9' tables. Any recommendations are appreciated!

In Richmond, you can play at The Triple, Side Pocket, Playing Field, Sharky's and Diamond's. Do a google search and you'll turn up just about all of them that are listed in the phone books or with a web site.

In this area, your best best for action is at the Side Pocket, Playing Field and Diamond's. If you're looking for the largest collection of tables the Playing Field is the spot. Want 3 cushion? Side Pocket has 2 tables. Want more upscale? Diamond's. Original characters? Side Pocket.

I know that Fredricksburg, about half way between Richmond and NoVa has a room or two and there are several spots up in northern VA area.

Have fun!

THe fredericksburg room that is a player's room is JJ's. Owened by Chris Loar, past State champ, dad and all around cool guy. Please do stop by...Gold Crowns.

And, Just off the highway (95/495) south of DC is Fast Eddie's (Springfield). I believe they do free pool from 11.30-5 w/ $8+ food purchase. Ususally cheap action, but they can be a bit shy.

Plenty of places to play

I recently played at Fast Eddie's and it was okay. Not many 9' foot tables, though. Anyone know how that place in Dumfries / Woodbine is? I think it's called Gator's on Google Maps.

Great pool room

Go to Qmasters in Va beach Norfolk area it has 61 pool tables and plenty of action Barry is the owner and host and is the founder of the US open 9 ball event every year

Gators has at least a dozen 9' tables. I've done some lessons in there. In No. VA, be sure to go to First Break Billiards...Brandon Shuff hangs out there, and all 9' tables.
