Virtual Pool - any good?

I was thinking about getting virtual pool to play once in a while on the computer. Have never tried it though and don't know anyone that has it. Suggestions? thanks

Best pool simulator ever made........ Im one of the VP4 on line testers. The online version is gonna be the best ever.

It's absolutely amazing. The online version will blow everybody away.

When you buy it is it a standalone product or does it come with the option to go online to play? Thanks for your input guys. Does anyone think it actually helps their game or is it just a fun thing?

Virtual Pools technical reproduction of the physics of the game is outstanding.Nothing I know can compare.to its reproduction.Yes it can be a learning tool.

Max Eberle sent out a video showing how Virtual Pool can help with your aiming. The video even gave credit to Pro One and other aiming systems. If I find the link I will place it here, otherwise, contact Max Eberle for the video.

It's a very realistic pool simulation, more for fun. It's a stand alone game. Choose from cue type, table size, conditions, players, etc. . - it's a literal world of billiards.

It will be good practice for the online version, which will be for competiton, tournaments. etc. . There will be full blown tournaqments with prizes, chat room and private messaging, team play - you name it.
 
Funny timing on this.....I just ran across an old install disk when I was looking for something last week. I had Virtual Pool 2 years ago, remember it being pretty decent at the time

I downloaded the VP4 demo version.......it's an absolute pain in the you know what trying to play on a laptop with a touchpad. Gonna gave to dig up a mouse before I can decide if it's worth buying
 
Hi guys,

I'm rather new here but I love VP4. I've played the game for ten years and am also an online tester. I have a VP4 blog and I am virtualpool4blog on YouTube, just search for it in Google, not sure if links are allowed or not, but I don't make any money off my site, it's just a hobby.

Unfortunately the game does not play on MAC, Doug.

The game is very realistic with player feedback feeding into the semi-regular patches that further improve the game. AI is good and career mode is very tough on 9-Ball good luck mode.
