Holy shit. Chou got beat badly. Not to make excuses for anyone, but she did not seem herself. Seemed sick. Had her big puffy coat with her. Who knows? Not to denigrate Wu Zhi Ting. She's a top caliber player.

Very unlike her, she wore glove for the first time today on camera, no excuses. Few bad scratches cause her downfall.
 
Just to keep people who follow this thread updated. The woman's event will start sometime in Aug. Men's part would be cancelled due to some sponsorship and other reasons. Will update with links when the girls starts to play.

Looks like men's pool in Taiwan is really in decline .
A few signs of that-
Ko Pin Yi and Chang Jung Lin joining Filipino stable Bugsy
I see fewer strong juniors at World Junior Championship

Gosh, what were they thinking.

The men's division have a couple world champion calibers players like both Chang, ko brothers and they are cancelling it ?

But instead they are going ahead with the woman's division ?
I mean c'mon, thesr girls can play some but i'm not gonna watch em over the mens ?!

If they were stunners like megan fox maybe i might but i say bring the homiez back and keep the girls until thry could find additional sponsorship.

My 2 cents
 
Same thoughts, think the network must have done some market research to keep the woman division due to maybe higher viewership

So the new format is all nine ball?
I really liked the format where they pick at random with 14.1 thrown into the mix.

Also, I miss the mall background noise for some reason. Not sure why.

But it's great pool, and the links are fantastic. Thanks for keeping this thread alive.
