hi all,i have a vnea ?.i'm being told that you can use any length cue or shaft for jump shots.i'm being told that there is no rule covering length for cues on jump shots in vnea rule books.they might be right,i could not find any.does anyone know what the rule is and where i can find it? thanks george

Hi George, Unless it's been changed recently it's 40" and the tip has to be 15mm or under. It can be found in the VNEA rulebook. Sorry I couldn't be of more help, can't find a rulebook right now.

that is just what i thought.however i can't find it in any vnea rule book i have.anyone out there know for sure?
 
the two vnea rule books i looked through did not say anything about the length of the jump cue.is there any place on line where i could look it up?vnea web site is no help. george
 
Unfortunately I couldn't find reference to the rule in my book either, but trust the posters, that is the minimum length requirement in a cue.

The VNEA site for advertising the VNEA Tourney in Vegas always has the rule posted.
 
The rules VNEA I found that mention cue specifications say 40" minimum cue length.
To me that means all cues, especially since there is no mention of jump cues specifically.
 
thanks for your help.i know its 40 and 15.unless i can show it to them in a rule book they ain't going for it.thanks anyway.
 
Magix, under what circumstances is this rule being disputed?
Another team in your league or just among your own team members in that someone doesn't believe you?
