Does anybody know anything about these Volturi cases? Are they well made, durable?
Any opinions would be appreciated

Well, I can see exactly why! This Cue case is so expensive.

It is highly intraquit an those ornate details adds to the Value

I have seen them over $1000 but as low as $350 used for something basic. Nice quality cases from Roger.

I have not been impressed by the two I've seen in real life. Cheap feel and one had hardware falling off of it and it was brand new still. I wouldn't want one.

Plenty of great case options out there - JB, Whitten, Instroke, Murnak, Melton, etc.

Had a few (ordered a couple at once) and they were ok. Not as bad as some
not as good as Justis, or JB cases imo. Decided not to order anymore based
mostly on the quality, but helped by the fact that the owner, Roger, offered me
a free intricate case because I helped him out on a deal regarding a multi
thousand $ cue but then never delivered and stopped answering emails.

I've heard he's done this to several ppl.

Buy a quality case that had been suggested here by others. Stay away from roger if you know what's good for you.
JB CASES has a great selection of highend leather cases, he has a simple way for you to design your own case.

Definitely go with someone like justis or jb cases or Whitten. You've seen a couple of my jb cases. I wouldn't sell them. Period.

I would give them an A for cosmetics, a C for durability, and a D for customer service.

The cases are beautifull, with lots of nice details, the lining is a copy of the ultrapad interior, not shure if it's the same quality though?
I have spoken with Roger, and he responded quickly, but I have not bought any thing from him, so I'm not sure how his service is once paymwnt is done.
Reading DD and others experiences leaves me sceptical to part with so much money for a case.

I ordered a case from Roger in the past. It was a 3X6 that I ordered to have a 32" long interior to fit my 30X30 cue without having to worry about the joint caps, etc... There were also a couple of other features that I was particular about.

I was quoted 6 weeks for the build. After 5.5 weeks, I was sent pictures of my completed case. Unfortunately, the side carry handle was not on the side of the case that I specified. When I pointed that out, Roger was very apologetic and asked me for 2 more weeks so he could re-make the case.

Two weeks later, I received pictures of the second completed case. Everything was to my liking and he shipped it out right away. When it came in, I was nothing other than impressed. Not only was it beautiful, but everything was exactly as I wanted it to be. That is... until I put my cue in. Lo and behold, the case was made at standard length, and lid would not close completely when my cue was in the case.

When I contacted Roger this time, I just asked if he wanted me to send the case back for a refund, so the transaction would be over and there would be no continued headaches for either party. In his reply, he asked me for another chance to make the case for me, as he much rather wanted me as a happy customer than for the transaction to come to a civil end via a refund. He asked me for 2 more weeks, and I obliged. He covered the return shipping cost, and had me ship it to one of his sponsored players in the US, so we didn't have to worry about international shipping.

Two weeks later, another case arrived at my door. A beautiful case. The correct case... in every way. I was, and am, a very satisfied Volturi customer.

Recently, I was in the market for a simple, Brunswick-style, 1X2. I contacted Roger with the details, he said he could make it for me (at a very reasonable price) and quoted me 2-3 weeks on the build time. I didn't hesitate to order from him again, and it should be ready this week.

There have been some negative things said in this thread about Roger's customer service. I'm sure there is merit to that, and don't discount those who haven't had good experiences. I can only speak of my experience, though, and my dealings with him have been fantastic.

Cheers,

Mike
