All of his tapes are great. I don't know why this would be the exception.

no, sorry, i disagree. not all of his tapes are great. at least one that i know of was so ridiculous i got my $$$ back, or exchanged it, dont recall.

just wondering if anyone out there has this tape and if it can help your positional control? any good tips on it?

thx,
DCP

$12 is a reasonable price for his tapes. If you have not seen any of his other tapes buying one will not do you much good and you will probably be disappointed. Most of his tapes consist of a one hour lesson that one of his students is getting. The tape then consists of that student doing a drill. You then get the privilege of seeing that student miss and Bert telling him how to correct or shoot it. Don't expect anything earth shattering. Bert will throw in a few tips and hints.

In this tape he sets 4 balls up. One ball at the first diamond along each long rail about one inch from the rail. You start with the CB in the middle of the table and shoot to make a ball and try to get the CB back to the center of the table for the next shot. The object is to make all four balls and shoot from where you leave the CB. The next level is to place the balls (don't look at the numbers when doing this to keep it random) at the same spots and shoot at the lowest number ball from the CB position on the table so the object is to try and keep the CB always in the center of the table. When the 4 balls are made you place up 4 more. The goal is to run 20 to 30 balls without missing at the higher level. The tape is suppose to teach you how to keep and get the CB back to the middle of the table and also to avoid scratching.

I think that is basically what you get.

His Big Bang tape was a joke and he even admitted it on a later tape. I think he even said later not to use the methods in that tape because players were breaking their hands.

Could you elaborate on this one?

I don't recall that

I was wondering about that. I don't remember him saying that. The tape was okay. 101 and 202 are pretty good. For $12 it is bargain. Of course, if you have viewed some of them in the past and returned them then perhaps he is not the instructor for you. People learn in different ways.
