Amanda Beard would be one of my last choices in that list. I'm sure that her posing in Sports Illustrated (Swimsuit Issue) has everything to do with her being so far in the lead right now. Either I'm blind, or I'm just missing what other people are seeing. How Laura Davies missed this list I'll never know!

I say that only because I have heard many girls talk about how they didn't want to be viewed as sex objects, but as soon as they were actually treated that way, they soaked it up. Not to say that all women are like that because I know that some do genuinely find it demeaning, but I have certainly met my share of hypocrits.I'm also sure that some of the girls who critisized Jennifer for posing in FHM, or critisized Jeanette for some of the photos she took (which, honestly, weren't anything to get upset over), would LOVE to be the ones in FHM, or in some other "sexy" photographs.
Now, I don't think any of the guys in the "Sexiest Male" division are going to find it demeaning. They'll be thinking, "Yeah, baby. That's me. Come get you some, girl!"
I wanted to add something (hence the edit). I know Jennifer reads this forum, and I don't want to be the bad guy here. She's a very attractive girl, and she wouldn't be on that list if she didn't deserve it. I just happened to want to vote for some ice skater that has less than half of the votes that Jennifer does.

OK, first off, as a girl, I don't find any of Jenn's pics as demeaning to women. I also don't find the fully nude stripers (yep, we have them in WV) demeaning to women either. Do I find it un-flattering? Yes. Am I a bit embarrassed for the women who feel like the have to resort to doing that kind of stuff? Yes. But to each their own.
Do I like it when I am shown attention? You bet! When someone makes it known you are hot stuff then you are floating on water...even if it is the balding, over weight, 80 year old. (Ah, but there is NO excuse for you stalker guys...that is just annoying.) And being all grabby is gross too. But I surely am not gonna take my clothes off to get it.
And yes, some women may criticize the ones that do these kinds of things because they are jealous, but as a whole, I think most girls are comfortable with who they are and it really means nothing. It's just watching you boys go crazy over it that drives us nuts. And no it doesn't drive us nuts because we want you to act that away towards us, but because it is just silly. I for one can laugh at it, because half of you are WAY outta your league, LOL.
And while we are being honest, I didn't vote for Jenn either. I also don't think she is the sexist woman sports figure, nor do I think she is the best looking woman on tour. She is not the worst looking either, LOL!

I'm sorry but I can't help but find this a bit obnoxious. All of us were asked to go to this site to help support A FELLOW AZ'ER and how do you respond? If you're an az'er, you vote for Jenn. If you're a pool player, you vote for Jenn. If you want to make a political stance, just don't vote or keep it to yourself if you're going to vote for someone else. Why do you feel it necessary to let people ON A POOL SITE know that you didn't vote for the pool player?
I cannot figure how people in this forum can talk about supporting the game yet balk when it comes to voting for a pool player in what will end up being a fairly popular event. When will people learn to shut-up and vote the party line? Just vote for the pool player, it's that simple. Vote for pool.
This isn't the Presidency is it? I mean, if it were, I'd still vote for the pool player but at least I'd allow you some political freedom.
