What's your pool New Years resolution or New Year goal?

Mine is to run 100 in Straight Pool.

Jim

To improve my 9 ball game. I'm still learning. Oh, and no more losing, purely because you just have to have one resolution that won't last! :D

For this year my goal is to play consistant A speed by the end of 2007 and be able to play A+ speed for my high gear. A- if I'm hitting bad.

To play more tourneys/money games and to try and nail some consistency.

I hope to play in some tournaments, etc. stateside this year, and my specific goals are as follows:

1. To improve on my break and on safety play; and
2. To cash well in a few professional tournaments.

Wish me luck, and I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Work on on my game in a disciplined fashion

Try to play in more local tournaments as I travel for work

To get past the first round in the 2007 Canadian Snooker championships
Been working hard towards it all year with disciplined practice everyday.
Somehow in my middle age madness I have managed to find the drive, focus and want. I have pure determination to succeed, this will be my year :D

I've made it to the hot-seat match a couple times this year in our local open 9-ball tourney. I'd sure like to win one before I reach the stage where I can't remember where I'm supposed to be on Thursday nights.

To give each shot and every game my utmost attention and respect. Never to play half-assed again

Buy a new cue....(got to have one resolution that is fun) :D

Start playing in a league.

Run 30 in straight pool (I'm just a beginner :o )

Play better....

First Post Ever....

Get more involved in posting....

Take Lessons..

Buy a Cue...That is easier said then done when you want everything and don't know where to start..(I only have 5 cues....so I am a quart low)

Play on a regular basis..

Continue to have fun...

jdsons..

My resolution is to start spending more time "practicing" working on my stroke and such, and less time goofing around on a table using bad habits :o

Set a budget

To spend LESS than $1500 on cues this year is a goal of mine. I sold one for $1000 so as long as I spend less than $2500 on the new one I will be on target. Derby City will be my first shopping trip.

mine is to really work on my fundamentals and work out those pesky inconsistancies in all of my fundamentals.

i have a huge problem with dropping the ball on concentration so i'd like to work on that

another is to work on my straight pool game and get to the 50+ mark consistantly... i'm a long ways away though right now :(

really hone in on my PRACTICE instead of just shooting competition style racks with my most difficult shooting partner always.
