Everyone keeps quoting lower times. I have been checking on actual times that the wait list for cues are. Here is what I have hear by talking to the makers:
1. Pete Tascarella 3-4 years
2. Showman 3-4 years
3. Hercek 7-10 years
4. Searing 3-4 years
5. 8-Dont ask (just joking barry)

I have been seeing many posts that might suggest shorter time periods, but I would suggest that you contact the cuemaker and get actual times before you use my estimates.

Thx

Chris

What is the contingency for them?
What is the wait time for Schick?

Call Bill and ask

His stuff starts at 3000 and he is easy to talk to as a matter a fact plan on haveing a nice conversation with a real southern gentleman. I think if he ran for any political office once he started talking he would have every ones vote. I know he would have mine. Nick

Understand he MAY be at VF.
I will hope to run into him there.
If not, a call may be warranted.

What's the prob? That's only about 1030 days. To help it seem to speed up, I'll remind you with a countdown each day!:)

wait

Southwest 5 years and growing.
I orderd a couple of southwests in Feb 04 they won't be ready till 09 I already designed one will be contacted 6 months out for the other design, and confirm order.

well seeing as i just turned 56 i would just pay a little more and get 1 from the secondary market rather than wait. (that is if i really wanted one) Hell i would be over 60 when it came if i ordered 1 now. but i am also already on dennis searings list and only have 18 months to wait for his cue......mike

I don't do it that way. Friend or family gets put on the end of the list just like everyone else. Just want to treat people fairly - the way I have to do business 'cause it is business.

Does anyone have a program or something to help design a cue? I would love to build my ideal custom cue, but to put it nicely, am highly artistically challenged. Just wondering if anyone has heard of such a program. Thanks

Its like anything else in life, its not about being on the list as much as its "who you know" or how much money you are spending. Ive heard these two reasons given for why some people have been able to jump the list with many of the desired cuemakers.

there 2 program you can use. 1. autocad 2. from Apple software ( vactorworks ) these two program will able help you design or draw the cue you want as long as you do all your setting ahead of time.
