Walmart pool tables

Walmart has pool tables ranging in price from $296 (90 inches) to $700 (8foot). Are they worth looking at or are they merely expensive end tables?
 
most of my customers who bought one for Xmas last year were looking repairs or refunds by Valentine's Day,,,furthermore, I refuse to work on them ! ...............jmho

If I even concidered buying anything from wal-mart I would kick my own ASS ! LOL
 
If you buy one you will be $296 to $700 dollars farther away from a good table than when you started.

my company won't work on them either
 
a kid who came in my pool room was upset because Santa didn't bring him a Wal Mart table for Christmas,,,

next year he was MORE upset because Santa DID bring him a Wal Mart table

made a good joke, but it was the truth,,,kid wanted me to recover it less than 30 days after it arrived,,,

I don't even let anyone bring in a cue with a screw-in tip (wal-mart/sears/k-mart.....
 
They ar peices of junk. It's probably one of the few tables where we tell the customer we can't make it play right. Or not for long.

The cloth on it is also terrible. Every cloth that it came with had little bumps in it.

Darn it, I was gonna sell my Walmart table for $1000!

You could probably buy a used 7ft Valley, and it would play 100Times better than the best Walmart table.

NEVER GO cheap on a pool table. If you spend 500-1000$ more on a good table, you'll thank yourself for the rest of your life.
