I have been known to play a little....but I am definitely not a big-time gambler. It's not that I would turn down big action if it came to me and the game was right, but I don't go looking for it. I have never been on the road....nor do I travel around to my local rooms looking for action. I go the pool rooms to play tournament or practice...and if action comes to me, then great....if not, that's OK too.

As far as woofing goes, I am really not a big woofer. Mostly, I get into games that are fair, or close to fair, and whoever plays better that session ends up the winner. When the woofing starts, I might tell someone to just shut up and let their playing do the talking. To be honest, I realize that woofing is an art, but I find it just childish and annoying. If there are 2 people just woofing at each other for an hour....then I get bored and probably won't stick around the match-up.

As for one particular win that stands out....well, my boyfriend and I sometimes play scotch-doubles together. This one weekend, we got into a session with another couple, and ended up playing for about 8 hours on Friday night and breaking even. Then we played again on Saturday in an all day session, and broke even again. Finally, we played again on Sunday and beat them pretty badly. The money wasn't even all that important....it just felt good that we finally broke them down after playing all weekend.
