Take a look at Jim Pierce's "BLACK AND WHITE" Ebony (photos - 8/23/10). This has got to be one of the most unique cues I have EVER seen!! His photos do not begin to show the finish on this cue. Want to own your own "ONE OF A KIND"? Talk to Jim Pierce!

Wanna See WILD ASS EBONY??!!

I'm sure many would... if you are going to post in the "Cue Gallery", please post a picture... that is why it is called a GALLERY! :slap:

those are very nice pieces of wood... seems like the old school with veneers will be the finished product..just a wild guess...

It was a case of being in the right place at the wrong time! After sorting through 50 or so sticks I was just about ready to give up when..."bling" the light reflected off of a piece out of the corner of my eye. At first I thought...they were just table saw marks and then I put my glasses on! If you look close you'll notice a "pinkish" hue to them. That's not the camera messing with the colors....at first I thought maybe it was just something on the outside of the sticks but even after I cleaned them up it still showed....almost begging to be matched up with some pink ivory? Not sure about that one yet.

I'm just completing a cue with BW ebony forearm/butt & pink ivory handle. Looks pretty ok together, actually. Your BW ebony is great!!! Nice find.

You dog.... Now I'll have to do a PI front and back with the B&W handle.:groucho:
Send me a shot of it when it's done so I can wrap my head around around the two woods together.

Sure will. The PI I used is "dirty". It's full of tiny blacks specs, but is curly & pink so it looks cool. The BW ebony isn't as extravagant as the stuff in your pic but it's pretty dang good stuff. I'll send you a pick. I used PI slots into black phenolic for rings, and accented them with thin ebony & PI. Looks pretty slick.

dave,

that is some truly wicked stuff !

i still ooooh and ahhh over the last cue you made for me !

you should put some pics of that up
