want an instructor to test a new training method

Hey guys.
I won't post this in the "aiming discussion forum" as it covers all aspects of our beloved game and not only aiming.

I have finished 98% of the complete training program for pool with SEE.

My suggestion:
I want 2 players that don't give a lot of value to what is called
"new aiming/aligning/voodo or whatever systems" So these kind of players that use ghost ball or feel alone.

I want 2 players that already apply a system like CTE, PRO ONE, 90/90
or double the distance.

I want 2 instructors!
One instructor with concrete knowledge and ability to use CTE or ProOne or 90/90-or double the distance.

a second instructor that is convinced that this stuff can not really work or at least does not help players more to learn pool quicker than just hitting a million balls, watching the pros, taking some pool lessons and doing the drills that all know since 50 years when they have mastered the stroke - at least in such a way that he is able to make 3 balls in a row from a fixed position.

No complete beginners are wanted for the players that just use feel/ghost ball to review my method! You have to have abilities to play pool. You might be an APA 6 - 9 or even a short stop or a professional too as I want some one to test my method who is already able to play pool.
Complete beginners do not have the ability to judge this program, I think.
And this program is not for complete beginners but for players only that can play pool a little and really want to invest time to read, watch, learn and train as indicated in the program to increase their pool playing ability!

Any one here in the forum can post suggestions what persons should get a copy of my training program in this thread (no PM) as I want you all to have the possibility to check. The persons that will be suggested will get the copy- I do not care who this will be)

Those 6 persons have the right and the "duty" to check, watch, test my work and then use it for 2 weeks and then post their experiences.
They should tell the public forum what they think about this new approach
to the game of pool. This might be positive or negativ - I don't care!

My goal is, and has always been to create a method that will help players quicker and as good or hopefully even better than the old known methods. I am 100% positive that I have reached this goal of mine with my method!

I think there is no more true method to give all of you world wide a true insight about something new naysayers, yessayers and instructors...

The thread is opened now up to next wednesday and then I will send out the free copies...

...to clear things up:

Any member of this forum may name himself or somebody else to test the program.

Please state clearly if you are a NAYSAYER

-or a YESSAYER to systems like CTE, PRO ONE, DOUBLE THE DISTANCE, 90/90 or SEE that applies one of the systems already

Or if you are an instructor pro systems with expierience/ or contra system.

The persons that will be named the most often will get it in case they want to.

Please post in this thread: http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=284781

Is your goal to do an objective, clear, accurate test of instruction methods? If so, I think your proposal has zero chance to be such a test.

Mr. Jewett, I respect your opinion. I just wonder if you would care to elaborate? I don't think this is exactly a total system. I may be wrong?
I'm just wondering why you would not be able to give an honest opinion on his work? If it does seem to work, would you not be able to say so ? Even if parts seemed to make sense?
Or, am I again missing something, again! It won't be the first time. lol
Thanks
Frank

instructor needed ?

Hello,
I would like to volunteer myself to help out. I am a senior player, and I have played in many a pro tournament. I also am a 100 ball straight pool runner, so very experienced in the game.

I was a naysayer to the systems, but recently having discovered CTE, I now use this system and believe in it very strongly.

Could you use my help ?
thanks,
steve

Almost all training systems work. The problem if you want to say that one works better than another, you need to do a fair, unbiased test. It is not enough to have a few students in a poorly controlled situation followed by subjective tests.

If you wanted to compare, for example, closed versus open bridges to make some kind of informed statement about which is better, how would you go about it?

I see what you are saying. Thanks :)

Well :)

Ekkes knows (hopefully) that i have the greatest respect if it s about his abilties to teach (and he s also a very very strong player!).

But I would not *fit* here into the wanted "format" Ekkes is searching. Because i am oldschooled (lol, sounds crazy) but i also believe that pivot-based systems are not completly Voodoo^^
For sure i m what he would call a guy, who teaches his students the *oldschooled way*- means i don t teach a cte-based system. I have the theoretical knowledge from reading, and trying out myself a bit. And i am for sure not a *naysayer* and i have also positive thinkings about some cte-based systems (maybe til now just in some directions). But before i wouldn t receive an instruction by a master of this system in person it wouldn t be serious to teach somebody with a system i do not know 100%.

But Ekkes: how i told you in my message to you, just let me know how you want to run through your system, and how you want to *test* it. I have 2 students who would video their practice sessions and drills you would want to have. Both more expirienced players, both 100+ ball runners.

Just shoot me an email or call me Ekkes if you need something :)

lg from overseas,

Ingo who would vote for Randy Goettlicher for sure- If it s about system, he should be THE MAN :-)

I'm shamelessly looking for votes in the ghost ball/ feel category!
Thanks for any help you can give to me! I can't aim.
