Want to have a Kikel Pool Cue refinished.

Hello all,

I'm looking to see if Dave Kikel is still doing cue work and if he is if anyone has his contact information?

If he isn't doing cue work still, then I will be looking for someone to completely refinish one of his pool cues for me.

Thank you in advance

Cody Cash, PK Custom cues, in Wichita does great work at fair prices. He re-did my Jensen and it came out great. He has a FB page with pics of his work.

I have owned and played with Dave's cues for close to 20 years. Bill Stroud was his mentor and his cues are superb players. I have never ever read one bad word about doing doing business with him.. Hope you get your refinished soon and enjoy it for years to come!

Why do you want to have the cue refinished? I bought a Kikel cue a little while ago, and I was surprised that the finish seemed dull. It was an older cue (2002) that had never been chalked. I did a little investigating and found out the Kikel finishes his cues using conversion varnish, which is used for finishing furniture, rather than clear coat. I wiped down the cue and then polished it with Lemon Pledge, and it looks great. Of course, the cue also plays great.
