Want to know if you are twisting the cue?

Use the bridge. Go ahead and stroke it like you are going to shoot the cue ball. Go ahead and look at it and tell me what you see?
 
Here is another way which doesn't require a bridge.

Get a small colored adhesive dot, like they sell in office supply stores. Stick one on your ferrule.

Orient it so it is facing up. Shoot some practice shots, at your freeze position look at the dot, if it is still facing up no twist. If it is turned left or right, then there is a twist in your stroke hand.

I have a dark pie piece on the ob1 shaft that I can see pretty well.
I didn't think I twisted the cue. The bridge showed me otherwise!
I think because it is so wide, you can really see the smallest little twist.
