Want to trade for high end cue...

Hi All,

Pondering a trade here. I've got quite a few really nice sticks that I might incorporate into a trade for a higher end cue such as a Barry, Gus, Bushka, Gina, etc. I have a newer fairly fancy Josswest, a Zylr, a high end Scruggs, Mc Daniel ebony and ivory, fancy BCM ebony and ivory, Guffey with Burton Spain points, and a lot of other goodies like collectible cue cases and lower end cues... I would want something with provenance. Don't need any "this could be a Bushka" cues. Can trade a lot or a little depending on the trade. Please PM me with possibilities!

Thanks!

Steve

Collectible cases

Hi Monski,

I've actually got several collectible cases. If you go to www.palmercollector.com, you can see a few of them in the "Collectible Case" section under "Exotic Cases". I believe that the only one that I don't still have is the Teju lizard case. I'm also scheduled to receive a couple of tooled leather cases shortly. I also have a very unique black giant stingray case, as well as a Viking python covered case, a wood case with internal hinges (not one of those cheap things you see ever so often), a 2 x 5 OnQ, couple of George's, etc. Check the pics on the Palmer site, and if you would like, I can send others.

By the way, you had helped me find out about the weight bolt on that Tony Bautista cue awhile back. I really appreciated that, and it made the cue play really nice. Thanks again!

Best regards,

Steve

I just want to vouch for Steve here. This is a serious post. He is a perfect gentleman. I did a trade deal with him (kind of complicated) for a JW cue.

You cannot meet a more honorable and better collector nor a more honest person. You can deal with Steve in great confidence.

Chris

Thanks for the kind words, Chris! That was quite the deal on the JW... Love that Justis zebra case. Now, I'm just looking for something fancy to put in it. How are you hitting with the JW?

Best regards,

Steve

I also can vouch for Steve...great guy and good man to deal with!

Hope you enjoy the Jazz Cue!

A pleasure to be of service Steve. I'm looking for a 2X4 or a 3X6 preferably tooled leather with a compartment for my jump stick (the Porper Case looks great but I think it's Chris's case).

Those cases you have are damn nice. What are the details of the case --- 3rd from the left?

Monski ;)

Thank you, too, Chad! Have you heard anything about your folks yet? Our prayers are with them!

The Jazz hits like a freight train! I tell everyone it's one of the Lost Mc Worter Cues ;) ... In fact, I like it so much that I just bought another Jazz!

Monski, that case is a wrinkled black elephant ear. In fact, I just gave it to my brother for his birthday! If you are interested, I can put you in touch with Sam Engles, who is the maker. Sam is very reasonable and does great work. I do still have the one next to it, which is a smooth elephant ear. If you're interested, I'll PM you the price. The OnQ I have is ostrich patterned leather in a 2 x 5. I also have a 2 x 4 Instroke (green and black suede) that might be of interest...

I'll try to get some pics to everyone as soon as possible. Thanks for your interest!

Regards,

Steve

I think I used to play with the Zylr he has and if it is the cue I'm thinking of it plays jam-up. Of course I haven't hit with a Zylr that doesn't play great. :)

I'm having Tony make me a few cues too. Love their playability. He's made so much improvement specially in the way he balances the cue. He'll be coming up with resin impregnated shafts soon.

Anyway, just looking for a used case as it will be used for storage mostly. Pls PM the price of the cases. Thanks. ;)

Wanna trade?

I have a Gina Cue made by Ernie in 2003 after a two year wait from original order. It is a 17B with ivory joint and ivory butt cap and leather wrap added. It comes with two shafts, both 29 inches, pro taper, ivory ferrules, morri 13 mm tips. Never played. Have original invoice with Erni'es personal signature (not stamped) Also have original shipping container. I bought this cue after visiting Ernie's shop in North Hollywood, California. I would consider a fair asking price to be original cost plus 20% per year appreciatiated value.
Cue specs are 58 inches long and 19.250 oz weight

It's George Cases

I have an I'ts George Case: black ostrich hide hard case with no outside pocket. It holds one butt and two shafts. It is in like new condition. Will sell or trade?

"I would consider a fair asking price to be original cost plus 20% per year appreciatiated value."

What was the Original Cost Two Years ago, about 3500.00? 20% per year appreciatiated value is better than the Stock Market ;)

Hey Steve,

If you're ever thinking of selling that Zylr let me know.
