Wanted: Custom Cue for $2k

cue

Check out susiecuebilliards.com....He has a Skip Weston on his site for a little more than the $2000 you wanted to spend but only by a few hunded dollars...He has it listed for $2400 but he is easy to dael with so its safe to say he would probably sell it for $2200.............If your going to spend that much on a cue make sure you get a custom cue not production....Skips cues play with the best of them and the one he has sure is pretty...Comes with all the goodies too...Ivory joint , inlays, ferrules, lizard wrap and moori tips.....Good luck I hope this helps....Cosmo

Try sending PM to Edwin Reyes aka "bandido". I know he can make an awesome custom cue for that price. Don't forget to mention me when you send a PM to him. :D

Contact John Parker of Auerbach Custom Cues at www.auerbachcustomcues.com. You can also call him and tell hem Doug told you to call and he can make you a helluva nice cue for that price. Heck, he may even throw in a nice Jump/Break cue too!

P.S. I have the cue pictured at the top of the page on his website under "Cue Pics" and I can sell you that one myself. We can discuss the price. Peace.

You really can't go wrong with a Southwest, they play jam up and hold their value very well. If you search long and hard, you may find a Franklin for around 2kish, but even if it's a newer SW, you still can't go wrong.

I have a really nice Robinson with 3 shafts that is in mint condition that I would be willing to sell for $2,000. I talked to John Robinson about this cue and he said it was worth around $3400 but I would be willing to let it go for 2K let me know if you want to take a look at it and we can make arraingements. I can email you some pics if you would like.

Save Your $$$

I have a 40 year old Balabushka that plays as good as the day I ordered it from George. One of his first after perfecting his technique. Only 3 made like it & I know who has the other 2. Buddy & I were on the road back in about '69 (his 1st time out) and he says to this day it is one of the best, sweetest hitting cues he has ever played with. It is now in a safe deposit box along with 20 shafts from George and Gus.
I needed a stick to play with now that I'm playing again and ran into Buddy at a Midwest 9 Ball tourney here in St. Louis. He told me about the Lucasi cue and I hit a few with it. I found the one I liked on eBay for $98.00 and had a good Mori tip put on. NO KIDDING - I CAN'T TELL ANY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN IT AND MY BALABUSKA.
It is all a matter of what you get used to as long as you have a good tip.

I here these guys are the best there is there track record speaks for its self as well as there quality of materils i know if i had the money i would be getting one take the time and look at there stuff give the man a call ask around i know in my region they are well known. http://samsaracues.com/about.htm

Bow Tie Cue" Ebony forearm and butt sleeve. Each has 4 matching amboynia burl, ebony and holly "bow tie" designs. There are 64 individual pieces in these inlays. The rings are matching triple diamond holly and amboynia burl.
All cues have 2 shafts, joint protectors, and weigh 19 ounces. Cue # 1427 | $1850.00 I would pay that any day of the week for this kind of work. And if the time spent in to this cue i bet the shafts are just as sweet. Why make a cue as good as this and put a crapy shaft on it i dont see this happing i bet its one of the finests pices of thined spliced maple shafts any one of us has ever played with.

Two Grand is a lot of $$ for a Cue, hope you are thinking about a Collectable that will GROW in Value, as it ages. But than you got to lock it up, and not play with it. Pray it increases in value over buying a good Mutual Fund. But than that would be predicting the future, and I have not been real good at that in my lifetime.

Personally if I had Two Grand to spend on a Cues, I would by a Ron Kilby Three Cushion Cue for 550-600 Bucks, and a Nice Fancy good Playing Pool Cue from a maker like Ted Harris, Mike Capone, Jim Buss, BMC, or any number of fine other makers of Custom Cues with the money left over. ;)

I would look at a Bender. SW are nice but you either pay a premium or wait for 7 years. There are a lot of great cues for under $2000. Try Layani. You will get a great cue and still have money in your pocket.

i just went to that susiecuebilliards.com and didn't see the Skip Weston, but i did see the SW they have for sale.are they joking $3400 for an '07 SW.that place is a bigger joke that RM at Indyq.com.when i see someone trying to price gouge like that i will never do business with them again.that cue won't bring $2400 and here thay are selling it for $3400.anyway i have a very nice segmented Amboyna handle Gilbert i can sell you for $1500 or a very nice 6 veneer Ron Haley i can sell you for $1900.you will have money left over for a j/b.
