I'm looking for a EI-6 McDermott Desert Storm cue. It had a picture of a soldier in the prone position with an M-16. I owned a cue just like this back in the early 90's and regret selling it.

If anyone has one or knows where I can find one, could you please let me know?

Thank you!!

Just googled it and was surprised that there wasn't much out there.
But here is a link for one that is $400 but I can not tell you how
available the cue is or how recent the posting is as I am not the seller.
Good luck with everything.
Ryan

Thanks Ryan. I saw that listing as well, and couldn't believe that it was listed at that price. If it was new, it may be worth it, but it doesn't state that. I actually sent them an e-mail hoping to find out more information on it.

Thanks for responding and looking for me!

I still have new ones, black nylon wrapped if I remember correctly, or maybe blue with black nylon. 400 w/15-20 for shipping in original McD heavy tubes depending on your location. Continental U.S. only.

You can answer this then, since you have new ones. The picture on it, does it have a ship and a tank only, or a ship and a tank on one side and the soldier with the rifle on the other, or is there no soldier on it at all?

Because I'm looking for the one with the soldier on it, and the only "Desert Storm" cue that I see online has a picture of the ship and tank. I don't remember the ship and tank being on mine, but I was told it was a desert storm cue. It's been a long time, maybe you can refresh my memory as it seems to have escaped me.

Contact McDermott directly, I think they will still make them for Vet's. I had one made around two years ago for friend, and I think it cost around $200. I would not buy one used because the scenes are decals and if there is any damage it can be hard to repair.

Hope this helps

Thanks manwon. I will contact them directly and see what they can do.

manwon, I contacted McDermott directly and they can build this cue for me, engrave a name on it and ship it back to me for $308. You can't beat that!!

I don't need the engraving, but it's nice to know that they can build it for me cheaper than dealers are trying to sell it for.

Appreciate your advice! I feel that if I buy it, you should get some type of commission!

I am a Veteran, I spent 23 years in the Army and I was given one of those cues when I returned from the Middle East in 1991.

As far commission, just enjoy the cue and treat our soldiers in a kind manner if you ever meet any.

I am glad I could help, have a nice day.

I got one myself after I got back from Desert Storm. It was the second cue I ever bought while I was in the Air Force.

I have all the respect in the world for everyone that serves and has served in the armed forces. I consider all of them and you my brothers and sisters. I work on the civilian side of the house now with the Navy and my wife is still active duty Air Force (she retires next year after 24 years), so I keep myself around the military.

Thank you for your service and everything you have sacrificed to serve this wonderful country!

I actually have one it's in practically new shape! If you can hold off until next week I'll post a picture.

I'll hold off, but I'll be honest, it will have to be a he'll of a good deal to sway me from buying a brand new one from the McDermott dealer.

Also you should consider this, the originals are not covered by McDermott's Warranty, however, if they build you one now it will be covered 100%.

Just some additional food for thought when making your decision.

Have a great weekend.

Very true!

I'm sorry I went out of town this weekend, and didn't tell Craig that you might be interested in that cue and he sold it to a local customer.

Hope you find it or order from Manwon.
