Excuse my ignorance Bama, but who is Pete?
I e-mailed him this morning before I posted this, I thought for sure he would have some of his available cues on his website. Oh well, maybe he'll e-mail me back today sometime. Thanks for the info Joe and Kenny.
I believe JW is swamped right now filling existing orders and doesn't have any cues sitting around looking for an owner. Unless the one mentioned above is available.Dead Stroke said:

I have a fancy one with ivory joint, ivory buttcap, ivory points/inlays .. three shafts including one matching Predator 314. The wrap was changed to textured leather by JW Petree last year. MINT condition

I should mention that in my email reply, I had forgotten about the cue that Bama just mentioned here. It is a southwest style maple forearm with 6 bloodwood points, 3 high & 3low. White and blood veneers. Bloodwood butt sleeve. The cue has no joint or wrap yet, so those options would still be your choice. Price will depend on specs and inlays (if any), etc.
The original customer on it had put $100 down and then got incarsorated
. I have been told to keep the $100 and that he won't be picking it up. Let me know if that interests you.

Folks, at "just over $1K", that cue is a veritable steal.
Pete makes a fantastic cue - clean inlays, attention to detail and of course a great hit.
All that Ivory for "just over $1K" is unheard of, from a cue maker of JW Petree's caliber.
