I don't know if that would be accurate enough. They are good for general construction over long distances but they are not used for precision.

You can make your own from supplies bought at a hardware store. I would try experimenting with a tubing full of water compared to a level.

Levels for carpentry work are way too inaccurate for billiards.

You need a machinist level. Much, much more precise.

Get yourself an 18 inch square piece of glass. Clean it well. Use a cleanly waxed ball.

Place the ball in the center of the glass pane, the direction the ball rolls is a low point.

Move the pane around to different spots. Always make small adjustments. If the table is on carpet, you may just have problems that time may overcome.

This will work wonders to assist you in leveling a pool table. Good Luck

Apparently you guys haven't seen the slope scope.

It works very well. And it fits my time schedule. I can lay it on the table. Let it settle. Go off an do something else. Make an adjustment. Leave. Comeback etc. Takes about 15-20/table but it allows me to do other things at the same time and you don't have to keep moving the level around.

I had one, got damaged. Would love to find another one.
