anyone ever seen these type cases before?? i believe they were exotic wood veneers over foam rubber lined pvc with brass bottoms and nice brass screw on tops. they were very unique. i got this one from Dan Breggin of Colorado Cues over ten years ago but sold it with the cue. he told me someone he knew was making them with many different types of veneers. any info would be greatly appreciated.

I vaguely remember these cases...but I remember more the tube used. They were from a company in upstate NY, iirc, called Hollowood. They made these tube veneers in a variety of woods, both domestic and some exotics. They did not wrap the veneer around a tube, such as PVC, but rather the veneer created a structurally sound tube itself, and was available in a variety of diameters. I have been unable to locate a web presence for them for a while now. :(
