Also if anyone has suggestions on which instructional videos out there would be best for someone (me) just starting out with cue repair. I'm not going to get into cue building other than maybe convert some bar cues or plain janes into some break cues, etc. I might consider doing something like some basic titlist conversions etc. eventually but for right now I'm going to focus on cue repair, shaft cleaning/reconditioning etc.
This is something I've wanted to get into for years and I've finally gotten the extra $$$ to invest into it to get started. I should have my pro. cue lathe next week and I've bought out another guys stock of cue repair supplies (tips/ferrules/willard machine/misc/etc) to get started with.
