Yeah, people aren't reasonable on Hoppe prices anymore, they are all bought up and gaining in value.

Good luck, though, deals can be found but not from collectors. Check attics and basements in antique shops.

alot of the larger cue dealers will have them for sale at the super billiards expo next month.

you may be able to get a better deal if you buy 2 or more

My prices are not cheap. I have 14 waiting to be converted plus 5 that are being converted now but are on hold because I got a job. So cue building has to wait. But my advice is watch the That Bay of E place and just look around like most of us do. If I'm ever in the market to sell I'll let you know.

Good luck, hard to find

It took me almost 2 years to find a pair that were in great shape (on the Bay of course), back in 2005 the pair was 650. Of course I had one converted in 2012 and made a few hundred when I sold it. The other has pictures posted in my gallery. 3 of 4 points dead even, and the other point is only 1/8 inch shorter. Probably about 1 in 3000 odds finding points any more even. Has some warp but that doesn't start until about 29-30" from butt, so it's irrelevant even on a full splice conversion. FWIW I wouldn't consider less than 500.

Problem is mangled and poor condition ones go for 100+, and the nice ones 250+, most at 350+. That just seems to be where the market is. Finding good/great condition less than 200 is like a needle in a haystack. Hope you luck out and find a gem.
