Warm weather is here, mothballing the cue, cya next season!

Add to the list ....

I only eat ice cream in the summer.

I only eat dognuts when I'm hungry.

I only bugger the neighbors poodle when she's in heat. Did I say that out loud?

Yea, right.

Do people actually take the summers off? I don't get it.

I can tell you that I do.. I still play pool in the summer, but not nearly as much as I do in the wintertime. Ironic thing is I live in San Diego so it's not the weather around here that is the determining factor.

I head to the river (Havasu) on most weekends during the summer, and that cuts big time into my pool playing time, as well as financial situation to go play all night long etc.. Around here Pool isn't exactly cheap (atleast not at the place closest to my house) it's about 8 bucks an hour per PERSON.. not table. There's other halls that are cheaper, but this one is the only one with the beer, plus it's got a nice atmosphere etc.. On average though 50 - 100 bucks a night isn't exactly cheap. Do to the lack of expenses during the winter though, it's no problem to go out and play whenever I want. :)

I only play a little in the summer. I'm trying to learn how to golf. So far i only learned how to find little white balls in the woods:mad: .

i play more tournaments during the summer, but less normal play. its too expensive to play regularly in my home area.

Yea, I have seen some of the hourly rates in CA. You have to be a banker or silicon giant in order to be able to afford a night of table time.

Damn, plynsets, where do you play at?

On Cue, College, Happy Stick, and the other one out in La Mesa should be cheaper than 8/hr. Gaslamp used to be a good deal on Sundays but I'm sure its pricey at night.

Society is a good deal during the day but their prices are a joke at night; table rates and drinks are too high to play on crappy tables.

Maybe you'd be better off bangin em on the bar box with the youngins down at Cass St. Good food and a bunch of hotties running around....
