Some times we get lost in our problems and running away seems to be the easiest solution. In the end, dakaratestar did the right thing and I commend him for that.
 
There's no way that he would sign onto AZ and miss this obvious thread that has never dropped to the end of page two since it started. He had no intention of keeping his part of the deal until Sandman confronted him.

Conclusion: Well the Fed Ex came today. Looks like Ive finally received compensation. Everything appears to be in great shape. It has been an ordeal. But i didnt have to do much just be patient. It was you guys that did all the work and made it happen. And i cant express how much this means to me. To those that helped and were concerned i will have your back and will contribute my part to help in any negative situation that may arise. I also, would like to thank those that were more than willing to pitch their own money to compensate me. That shows true concern and class. A special thanks goes out to Ted, Tony, Ivan, sixpack, John Barton and Jay Helfert for their concern and involvement on making such progress that led up to making this happen. I would truely like to thank Ed{Sandman} for stepping in and confronting Leo on this. I think that is what eventually made Leo step up and complete the transaction. Once again thanks to all that were concerned and made this possible.

The Case Case Solved

Great news Jerry, glad it's over.

As promised, I deleted the personal information I posted but it is saved
just in case any other members inadvertantly fall prey to this guy.
I made that promise when I was in a weak moment and I wish I hadn't,
but I do what I say I'm going to do.
In my opinion this was NOT just a situation where a guy was a little slow,
got too busy (70-days late) or someone who all of a sudden fell on hard times.
This was a planned attack, he planned to do it again, and nobody should have to deal with something like this.

I'm very happy for Jerry and the fact that Ed Sandman of SandCastle
Billiards stepped up in a big way, however I am furious with dakaratestar
and in my opinion he should be permanently banned from AZ Billiards.
Having Dong around this forum is not a good idea, although he will just come back under a different username.
 
I'm glad it finally arrived Jerry! Although the time that passed and the stress of the situation could never be made up, I hope you can enjoy your case at last. I'm always willing to do what I can to help in such a given situation. Again, I'm glad to see so many good people come together on this. THIS is what the pool community needs more of.

I was watching this whole drama unfold and I have to say, it sure was a roller coaster ride! With all the other folks chiming in with their opinions, jlrowe being SOOO freaking patient, Leo (I wanted to say Ding Dong, but he did eventually do the right thing so I tried to refrain) finally shipping the package that I thought wasn't going to be the actual item, and all the other side things happening ... this is better than Jerry Springer!

I love seeing the people coming out of the woodwork to support this situation, and especially Sandman completely stepping up and jumping into a mess he really could of just backed off of and said "not my problem", just makes me so happy to find this group of people that want to do good by this sport.

Sorry, but I feel like I'm in a huge Bud Light commercial saying "I love you man" and you are all going to say "you can't have my Bud Light", heh.

By the way, PM me for my address if you would actually like to send me your Bud Light. :)

Amen to Jerry Rowe for being so patient and kudos for being such a gentleman through the whole ordeal. Now that you've got the case, tell us how you REALLY feel! LOL I hope NOW it's okay to make light of things. :wink:
