I had one my cues warp (butt only) and the manufacturer said they could straighten the butt and apparently they did...or at least that's what the return receipt said. I haven't taken it out to the pool room yet to see if it's fixed or not.

Can someone explain how a warped butt can be straighten, please?

thank, JED

Jed,

Most butt sections of two piece cues are built in 3 parts: forearm, handle, and butt sleeve. It depends on where the warp is, but for most cues it involves cutting off the handle hidden under the wrap and replacing it. This takes some knowledge and a good ability to re-connect the forearm to the new handle in a reliable manner.

You can see on Arnot's site the handle is hidden under where the wrap would start.

If they couldn't do that, they might have given you a new one.
