Warped Butt ?

I have an extra McDermott Star cue that was planning on selling now that ive upgraded to something better, however after playing months with it i just happen to roll it on the table and notice a pretty significant wobble in it. I switched shafts thinking it was just the shaft and it did the same. Pulled each shaft off and rolled it while attached to the new butt and they both roll fine ?
The butt rolls fine on its on but for some reason when a perfect shaft is on it wobbles. It has a 3/8 x 10 wood to wood joint, is it possible that the pin is bent ? Visually I cant see anything at all wrong with it.

Anyone ever have this happen ? I dont want to sell a cue to someone that I know is warped or damaged.

im sending a lucky in for warranty can share info if you want it .

Have your local cue guy put it in the lathe to check it?

Check the joint face carefully. A little dirt or a fleck of anything on the joint face can make a cue roll funny together. It is possible the joint needs refacing too, a very minor job for a cuesmith.
