warped butt

i just purchased a used cue that has a warped butt...( the joint of the cue lifts off the table about 3mm when rolled)

this cue is a full splice cue.

is there anything that can be done to correct this? Or is this cue destined to be warped forever.

I was really excited to get the cue & now i'm bummed.

any wisdom is appreciated.

If the joint lifts off the table it could be the faces of the joint. Roll the butt and shaft separate.

does the joint lift when rolled separately?what kind of wrap?might be able to be fixed.have you contacted the person who made it or sold it to you?

yes, the joint lifts off the table when the butt is rolled alone.

If it's warped in the wrap area, the cue can be saved. If it's warped in the forearm, live with it or sell it. It's $150/200 to repair. Is it worth it ?
