I have a customer with a warped forearm on a meucci. the cue has a linen wrap that has been clearcoated over the wrap. I need some advice from the experts on the best way to repair the forearm. Can it possibly be straightened without totally replacing the forearm? Customer does not mind wraping the cue without the clearcoat over the wrap. Appreciate all or any input. cribbeecues

More than likely is the A joint (where the handle meets the forearm) this can be costly but doable.

Find a super flat surface that you can get to the edge of. Put just the handle on the surface with the forearm hanging off the end. Roll it and look to see if the handle itself has any wobble. Then do the same with just the forearm on the flat surface. If both look straight then the problem is the A-joint and is not a super major ordeal to fix. It will require cutting apart and putting back together, a rewrap and possibly a refinish. He will have to decide if the cue is worth the money to fix.
