Warped slate

I'm working on a Diamond red lable 1 1/8" slate that has a nice 1/16" bow up on one end. It starts bowing about half way from the head slate seam to the head. and seams like an even bow all the way across..Kind of like it was leaning against a wall for a long time. What do I do? short of dynamite.

9ft Professional? A 1/16"? How did you determine that? Measure the slate thickness one more time too, I've never known Diamond to have or use a slate of that thickness, either 1" or 1 3/16" is all I've ever seen, and I go back 15 years with Diamond.
 
Yes professional . I guesstimated 1/16 by the light I saw under the straight edge. I was going to say it was 1 1/4 inch slate, so now I'm leaning more to 1 3/16" because of what you said, and its more than 1".
Ok . I'm sure the warp is not more than 1/16".
I'm sorry for not being precise. I,ll recheck today

The warp measures 3/64" at the lowest point.. and the slate is 1 3/16"

I'm not sure if this is what your supposed to do.. but its what I did..and it seems to have worked pretty good.. I GUESS I am lucky the warp is uniform across the head slate ..and its a bow, down to up from the head seam, and is mainly in and area ABOUT 3/4 from head seam to head, where it bows for About 9"..What I did was put two shims on each side of the nine inches .. inserted the slate screws on the head . then slowly pulled the seam slate screws down to flush the seam..this has improved the level. I'm going to let it sit for a few days.. recheck ..and slide a few more shims under it.. Again ,,read the first line of this post. any positive or negative feedback of this procedure, welcome, What would you do?
