I've got a chance to pick up a nice Tad cue with the tiniest of wiggles in the but that is believed to be in the handle. Cue plays lights out and is in otherwise great condition. Anyone have any thoughts on how much this might effect the value of the cue down the road? Cue plays great, looks great and is an older Tad 4pt.

try posting this in the cue gallery.. there are many people there who i think can answer your question that mainly stay in that area..
also if you post pics there it would greatly help people make a determination..

First I would contact Tad to see what it would cost to restore it. Next remember that a warp in a classic cue can reduce the value up to almost 50% or at least what it would cost to restore it by the original cue maker that made it!!
its worth what its worth to you. a warped cue is not a good investment. if you like it and like the way it plays, if the warp is minor, i would use the opportunity to pick up a cue from a master cue maker at a reduced price. figure you won't be able to sell it and you won't be disappointed later.
