Was SVB The Last American out in China

So Shane finished 9th/12th. He won his first 3 matches, then lost twice:

1. Toh Lian Han (Singapore) -- 10-9

2. Klenti Kaci (Albania) -- 10-9

3. Delgerhuu Ahtuya (Mongolia) -- 13-5

4. Zheng Yubo (China) -- 9-13 to event winner

5. Shi Hanqing (China) -- 8-13 to event 4th-place finisher

Anyone know what format they used? With a standard 128-player double-elimination format, if you win 3 matches then lose 2, you finish 17th/24th, so it must have been something else.

Edit -- Oops, just realized it was a 64-player DE, not 128; that's why.
