This is just to remind everybody that LIVE coverage of the Guinness Asian 9ball tour will begin at 4 am US eastern time tomorrow, Friday. Lots of great players in this tournament. The Philippines will be represented by Alcano, Pagulayan, Marlon Manalo and Roberto Gomez. Wu, Chang and Chao will be playing for Taiwan.

Get your TVU and SOPCAST players ready and tune in to the Star Sports channel.

It is such a pity that we can view this Asian tour LIVE while there is an ongoing 14.1 championship here in the USA and we only get delayed coverage via this azbilliards website.

It's pretty much an all-Filipino and an all-Taiwanese semifinals as Ibrahim
Amir was born and raised in the Philippines from both Filipino parents!

Go and get em Lion!

Less than 20 minutes to go for the 1st semifinal match. Alex Pagulayan fans should not miss this rare opportunity to watch him LIVE. If he wins this, he will be in the finals at around 1 am tomorrow against either CS Yang or WU.

Match between the lion and Amir has started already. Alex up 1 to 0. Watching it via TVU Channel 10006. Video quality is excellent and the commentators are speaking in English.

How do you view these matches?
Can someone provide a direct link to the video feed?

Kevin,

I do not think there is a direct video feed. You have to install the TVU player and then double click on channel 10006 STAR SPORTS on the left hand side when the viewer is up. You will need to install TVU and SOPCAST anyway if you want to watch the upcmong World Pool championship LIVE from Manila this November.

I cannot seem to connect to Star sports tonight using SOPCAST so I am using TVU. The video stream is very smooth.

BTW, Alex now leads 2 to 1.

tvu is chopy for me and I can't find star sports on sopcast

Mine started out choppy too using TVU but only a minute or so after connecting. Now the video stream is running very smoothly. Cannot connect to starsports using SOPCAST.

Alex now up 4 to 1 and looking good. If he wins this one, the finals between him and either Wu or CS Yang will be very exciting.

A bad miss by Alex in the 6th rack!
Instead of 5-1, it's now 4-2 with Amir breaking next...

It gotten worse for Alex. He lost 6 straight games.
Amir is now leading Alex, 7 games to 4, race to 11...
