WATCH/LISTEN IPT "Live" on Internet NOW!!!

Hi all..I just wanted to contribute...

I have done the following & now I can listen(watch sometimes) "live" whatever they are showing on TV all over the world..(in this case Eurosport channel)(IPT "LIVE!!!")

1) go to www.tvants.com
2) find the link to download the software. (in chinese so you may need some help)
3) launch the Tvants software
4) from 'search' function...locate Eurosports (English)
5) select it & wait for it to buffer for a few seconds..and (DRUMROLLLLL!!) you get a very clear transmission of the matches!)

Depending on where you are in the world...you sometimes get more channels..I'm in Asia so sometimes I don't get video..but very clear audio (if you're into good commentating-I wish they used better commentators!)

My friends in the USA claim they can view video footage as well as audio(for IPT Eurosport)...so good luck!

This is how we can get access to the "POOL channels" in Taiwan as well...
And when its time for the WPC...those in countries like USA will get to watch "live" as well!

Pretty cool. so no harm trying out the various channnels. I just started using this too so any further contributions for us fans not able to get access to matches will be very much appreciated!

well..in about 5mins they are scheduled to show IPT "Live" so at least I will hear the matches....

p.s. now i'm "listening" to commentary of the hockey match between Pakistan & Spain..so I know I'm on the right channel!!! IPT should be next!!!
 
Yes!! they are showing "IPT" live now..now interview with Ronnie...

as for the download on Tvants page..try the box with the little "bouncing" arrow..next to the "media payer download"....

Its definitely a gift...to hear all the player interviews...and match progresses!!!!

Great, I got it downloaded and am currently on the Eurosport channel. I think it is Mika vs Neils. I only have audio which is better than anything.

I just downloaded it and went to http://cache.tvants.com/detail.asp?id=300201 and clicked on the yellow button and get english audio for Eurosport, but no video--just a still shot of Tour de France. Listening to pool isn't nearly as much fun as watching it, but beats waiting for updates on the web.

Once the TvAnts app is open, if you click on the last icon on the bottom right, you get the entire tv channels listing. Right now I'm trying HBO. This has video. Back to Eurosport. Immonen is down 6-1, but still no video.

yep...cos they have microphones so they tend to talk as they think....even better than commentary..in some ways..just like you're there!..and you can hear the background players breaking...

Mika is in a hole..and he just said to himself.."time to wake up"..

Yeah, I found this the other day and didn't go back to see about the match times. I didn't find any free sites to view Eurosport though. I found a couple that look like I might be able to view it for $6 a month. I just haven't subscribed yet.

how many minutes of buffering time did it take before getting video/audio on tvants? i've been waiting for like 5 minutes, still no luck
 
Make sure the sound is turned up in the channel window. I also had to restart. Wow - pool radio!!! cool.
