Is this all Windows-based software or will it work on my Mac?

Just curious.
on the viidoo website it says that the tvuplayer is for windows only

Also, due to the large number of people watching the player will occasionally crash. Have a little patience and give it a couple tries.

They are replaying Day 2 right NOW!!

For those who missed the action last night, right now it is Efren vs. Babica. You can watch day 2 I think up to 10:30 am EST.

Things to check ...

Yes snapshot9, I figured out that much.....what I mean is that when I clicked on the channels, nothing appears on the player. There is a constant error message, "player cannot be initialized, please restart", and I have restarted many times but still to no avail.

Make sure your cable modem is on COM1. If that doesn't fix it, then redownload the software, and try again.

ESPN Asia (TVU) - schedule for tonight

According to this schedule from the WPC website, tv games will start at 2 pm Philippine time. That means, it is going to be 1 am US EST before the first game will start. Efren will be up against Roy Apancho from Indonesia.

However, based on the ESPN Star website, they will not start the LIVE coverage until 3 am tomorrow morning. Here is the schedule which is different from last night's coverage:

6 pm EST Replay of Day 2 - Session one 2 hours 6 pm to 8 pm
11 pm EST Replay of Day 2 - Session two 2 hours 11 pm to 1 am

LIVE Coverage will not begin until 3 am tomorrow morning as follows:

3 am (monday) LIVE Day 3 - session one 3-1/2 hrs. 3 am to 6:30 am
8 am (monday) LIVE Day 3 - session two 3-1/2 hrs. 8 am to 11:30 am

You can access the schedule by going to this link:

ESPN ASIA (TVU) - replay has started 6 pm EST

For those who missed the DAY 2 broadcast, replay has started at 6 pm EST. They are currently showing the replay of De Juna vs. Uzzell. De luna shows a lot of promise. His breaks are very powerful, IMHO even better than Bustmante's. A little bit more experience and he has the makings of another Filipino pool sensation.

Problem with TVU 2.2

Whenever I run TVU 2.2, it comes up and runs for a bit, then all of a sudden, it states below the window, that it is closed (meaning the connection is closed). I can not figure out why this is happening.

Also, if I try to close it, then reopen it, it states that a version of it is already running? Why is that? I haven't run it twice? It does put an active icon in the lower right of my screen when I run it.

Anyone else having this problem(s)? Anyone got a fix for this?

Had the same problem. When I got tired of it I removed the software from the computer and it crashed the whole system. Computer is up and running but I'm afraid to re-install the software.

I just right click that little green spinning globe at the bottom right of the monitor and hit exit. Then double click the desktop icon. Perhaps it just hangs up sometimes and "thinks" it is still going.

Schedule for Tuesday (our date and times)

ALL TIMES CONVERTED TO CST (CENTRAL STANDARD TIME).

PLAYS HERE ON TUESDAY, as of midnight:

Midnight - 2 am - Day 3 2nd session
2 am - 5:30 am - Day 4 1st session (live)
7 am - 10:30 am - Day 4 2nd session (live)
5:30 pm - 7:30 pm - Day 4 1st session (delay)

14 hour differential in schedule times (Hong Kong) vs CST. CST is 14 hours behind Hong Kong time.

And I find the connection using the Sopcast player 1.0.1 to be much better than TVU player.

Jeff is , without a doubt, one of the strongest breakers in 9 ball pool today. I personally saw him split a couple of Predator BKs and a Predator sneaky pete ( not his, so very unlucky for the owner :) ) LOL! -:D

The TVU player is awesome. I am really enjoying watching some great pool live.. And you cannot beat the cost;)
