I don't know if any instuctions like this have been posted yet.
These instuctions where sent to me by Time Warner since Fox network is trying to excessively jack up their cable signal charges.
I persume they will be usefull when we are veiwing streams.
I have not personally tried it yet.
Any comments or cautions would be apreciated.

How to connect your computer to your TV screen.

You’ll only need a few relatively inexpensive supplies, which you can order online or pick up at any home electronics store. Your specific TV model and your computer will determine what kind of cables you’ll need. The video will walk you through the process and tell you what you need to know.

We hope you’ll find these step-by-step directions easy to follow. Print directions specific to your computer’s Operation System.

It is important to keep in mind that it’s possible to damage your TV by sending it the wrong resolution, so please make sure you understand all the steps before you begin.

Thank you for this. Johnnyt

This link should help you -- I've ordered stuff from them and got everything really quick. This link has a table that will enable you to buy the correct cables, converters, etc. that you will need, depending upon what type of connectors that you have on your PC/Laptop and your TV.

Unfortunately, I didn't see this table until now, and I already ordered and received the converter unit and cables to go from VGA (Laptop) to S-video (TV) -- which just happens to have the LOWEST resolution (320i). My HDTV has one DVI-D connector, so I could have gotten a VGA to HDMI converter and then an adapter from HDMI to DVI-D to my TV (1024i).

Oh well....live and learn....
