Watching TAR technical details

I saw a post that said TAR might re-show the 8-ball from TAR 28. I'd like to be prepared for this and have a couple questions. How does Ustream fit into this - do I have to open a Ustream account? When I go to Ustream I just see a spinning white circle of dots. I'm afraid my computer OS is technologically showing signs of its age. Bandwidth is not a problem and I can watch You Tube just fine. I went to Ustream at 1 am, so maybe it's just that nothing is streaming at the moment?

thanks

Ustream sucks now, i hate it with a passion. I cant even watch it in my regular browser because i have a bunch of ad and spam blocking addons and Ustream simply won't load if you try to block ads anymore. So if the only way i can see something is on there and i really really want to see it i use safari or chrome but then you get ads popping up every 2 minutes.

If yours isnt working and you havent got any ad blocking software installed on your browser, maybe you need to update flash?

I paid for the one pocket and the ten ball and would like to see the eight ball.

If you use Firefox & ad block + it should not be a problem. I agree though Ustream is turning into a piece of shet.

I use Firefox and adblock+ and haven't been able to get an image on ustream since they changed to their new beta layout, i get sound but no image unless i use another browser.

Ustream rely on Flash software for streaming video. Adobe Flash may have to be updated.

Since the last updates of Firefox and Flash, viewing video is unreliable on my machine. Some work, some don't. Get a blank white space. I switch to Chrome to view.

Therefore, I, a technoidiot, assume that the latest version of Firefox (64 bit) has a bug.

I'm looking at replaying it for people who missed it but if it happens it will be PPV not on Ustream. I'm thinking $10 for 48 hours on a loop.

I'm actually going to start a thread and see what people think. If there is interest I'll set it up. If only three or four people want to do it it will cost more than I make to do.

It was nice to watch the eight ball. Don't get to see that too often with the higher level players. If you bought it once, do you have to pay for the replay?

I really like how you are looping the matches on TAR. It's nice if you miss part of a match, you can just watch the loop.

Thanks for putting all the matches on, it's a pretty cool thing to be able to watch the top level players.

mutton

I was just informed, in A DIFFERENT THREAD that TAR does not use Ustream.

The FIRST part of the question in the original post in this thread was "How does Ustream fit into this?" So to all you guys that gave Ustream advice, which implies that Ustream would be necessary...

THANKS FOR MUTTON!
