Wavy Laminations-

I just looked at one of the tips on my newly acquired Zylr cue under a loupe and it is a laminated tip, but the lamination lines are all wavy, not straight. I thought I was going crazy, 'cause it looks like a sand sculpture on the side of the tip.

Anyone have any ideas?

Seriously - I don't know - do you have any idea what kind of laminated tip it may be?

All of my Talisman med. do that, they have that wavy thing goin on.

Zylr uses Kamui as his standard tip, but the ones I have seen online look like this:

All of my Talisman med. do that, they have that wavy thing goin on.

Thanks Jeff, that was it. I have a Capone from 2004 with an uplayed shaft and a Talisman Medium, and it is similar.
