We never quit learning.........Perfect aim

Hi there everyone,
Especially those of you that have learned Perfect Aim over the past 3 years. It's been alot of fun and I've had as much fun sharing it as all of you had applying Perfect Aim to your pool game.

About a week ago I started doing something that seemed to really help. I'm opposite eye dominant. I worked on it and worked on it and it just seemed to get better and better. Then I showed it to a player that is also opposite eye dominant. And it seemed to help him.

After doing this for about a week now I can see how valuable this little sutle technique is and I want to share it on here for everyone. But unless you understand how Perfect Aim works it might not make much sense.

Here it is!

In the preshot I hold the butt of the cue as close to my right side that I can and keep my head to the right. This keeps my head and dominant eye in the best possible position to see the shot all the time. it also makes it alot more natural to get the body in the correct position when I get down on the shot.

Just like Perfect Aim I don't teach anything unless I can see that it works for me and it seems to work for everyone.

I have been following these threads for many, many months and finally decided to give Geno a call on 11-09-11.

I have to say that Geno has a wealth of pocket billiard knowledge that he is more than ready to share. What a great conversation we had. It lasted for approximately 2 hours.

I have a table at home so the training he offered made the lessons easy.

I am analytical by nature. Always asking "why". In other words the chances of me doing something just because someone else says its true doesn't fly.

I have to say that everything Geno taught me during those 2 hours could not be questioned. SEEING IS BELIEVING.

I have been playing pool since 1963. Back then and possibly even today a good player wouldn't help a young kid trying to learn. I quit playing about 10 years ago and just started back almost 2 years ago. Practice trying to get back in stroke has been tough, but I'm no quitter I just keep pushing

Geno made me a believer. If you get a chance give Gino a call, a very pleasant person to speak with and willing to take as long as it takes to help you.

I'm forever grateful for Geno's teachings.

Hi there Gary,

This little technique will work if your right eye dominant , left handed or left eye dominant , right handed.

But the whole bottom line is that this is just one little small part of the Perfect Aim method of aiming that can help opposite eye dominant players.

Opposite eye dominant players have to have the head in a more unnatural position than same eye dominant players. This just makes it a little easier.
