Weekly pool tournaments in Houston area

Anyone in the country hosting a weekly tournament can post it here https://vivianmarran.com/. And then they can easily share the tournament with friends via facebook/twitter/whatever

Then anyone in the country can search for it...and even reserve a spot.

Anyone wanna revive this thread??
I'm not a great player but would like to play a tournament or two for some expierence. I know Legends in League City (the pool hall I frequent) hold tournaments on Mondays but they sometimes don't depending on entries and I believe they alternate 8-ball and 9-ball.

Thanks for the info, I've never been to Big Tyme but I know they have tournaments. Its far from where i live but I'll definitely be checking it out in the next couple weeks! I just got back into playing about a year or 2 ago and I used to play at Slick's when they had a location on Nasa Road 1 and occasionally Fast Eddies but not crazy about their tables lol.

Barneys in the woodlands sundays at 5pm

I live over in League City so I'm pretty far but still wanna check it out in the next few weeks. I read a lot of your posts on here and have been considering getting a low end Carom cue and giving 3 cushion a shot. I watch Marco Zanetti sometimes and he makes it look like a lotta fun! Also never scratching is a huge plus! Lol. Thanks for the reply btw.

Big Tyme tournaments are Awesome. You might also check out Facebook Page "Houston Area Pool Tournaments" for a lot of local tournaments. The Cue Club north of town is also good.
 
Theres a real nice new place that does friday tournaments every week

Its where i go each friday after work including today!


Theres plenty of small tournaments at bars that never even get reported on the facebook page

Irmas iornhorse saloon has an 8ball mid week
Trevinos tejano sportsbar has a Wednesday and friday 8ball
Exit 73 bar has a late night Wednesday 8ball
Spring tavern tuesday night 8ball
 
Anything inside the Loop West of Downtown or close? Everything is so far out. I don't even know of any pool halls close by. Meyerland, Bellaire, West U, Southside Place, Southampton - anything in those areas would be ideal. The old Cue & Cushion on Shepherd, North of Memorial, was about as far as I cared to venture out.
