Craig wins 10-8 over Alcaide in a back and forth tussle....he's probably racing to a computer now to get onto msn to brag to me :p

Ralf Souquet goes to the loser's side after a 10-6 loss to Thomas Seiffert.

Karl Boyes continues his crushing form with a 10-1 win after winning 10-3 in the first round. Perhaps we'll see him shine in a 9-ball event.

Bruynooghe Noël, this guy really amazes me!

i never heard of him a year ago.he plays in the B rankings, has some bad rankings, and won one B ranking, het now just entered the A class players (top32 in belgium) he's currently only #25th. and very close to a place in the last32 :D

edit: i just looked and he lost his qualifcation match?! he'll have his chance in the losers round 5 with hopefully willems ronny joining him.

ps thx colin for reminding me there are 256 pro's playing at 2h drive from my home , but i cant afford the expenses to go and see them :(

It's always a valuable lesson for an up-and-coming player to watch events like these up close.

btw: Craig is currently 2-3 down against Ralf Souquet. I think it was their last meeting where Craig 'The One' beat Ralf 10-8.

He's pumped for the match, though he hasn't had much chance to practice lately.

yup, real shame!! many nice people there i would have loved to see and meet.

craig lost his match vs souquet :s last time i checked it was still fair even, 7-6, but seems like ralf got the ball roling and finished off. to bad :s

gratz craig! :) may we meet one day in a eurotour in belgium.
 
Unfortunately TheOne is out of the tourney.

He was 2-3 down against Ralf Souquet, then 4-6 down, then 4-8 down. He pegged 3 back to go 8-7 down but Ralf finished off the last couple of games.

Pretty good effort for a part-time shortstop none-the-less :p

Maybe he'll provide us with a match / tourney report after he downs a few beers.
